I wish to see my destiny, to change the path that Fate hath laid.
To undo the wrongs that I hath made.
To sleep unharmed in the Creators hand,
and erase the hurts of man.
To live and love and die again.
To test my strength in a place of sand.
To fight at the Final Stand,
and steal love from the Creators plan.

I seek the truth, the meaning of all things. I will seek my love and die while she sings.

Few people understand the psycology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you, he will follow.

The ending closes this beautifully, lyrically brilliant.

I dont like this that much in perspective, especially compared to [a href="http://www.deviantart.com/deviatio n/12957428/"]"The death of a Dream."[/a]

I was dating a singer at the time, well, an aspiring singer. I've always written prose and verse, so it didn't stretch me too far.

Finally, Wow! People actually read my work!

ha yes well you have remember people always have opposite views so what ever "rubbish" work you have submit it, someone is bound to love it, lie me i admire anyone who can put pen to paper and express themselves. Its brave you know, any inspiration will do and what you’ve done here is great, just keep going and work off what people like and what you think they can understand. It's amazing how many messages you can pass through poetry.

I absolutely love this poem.

"I will seek my love and die while she sings."

And that's the line that made me decide that I had to make you mine. *massive hugs* :date:
